This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, refunds, and returns for our music lesson services. We aim to be fair and transparent in our policies while maintaining the sustainability of our teaching services.
Individual Lesson Cancellations
For individual lessons:
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance: Full refund or rescheduling available
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance: May be subject to a cancellation fee, unless due to emergency circumstances
- No-show without notice: No refund available
We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances can arise. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel due to an emergency, and we will work with you to find a fair solution.
Lesson Package Refunds
For lesson packages (4-lesson or 8-lesson packages):
- Unused lessons may be eligible for a partial refund if you decide to discontinue lessons
- Refund amount will be calculated based on the number of unused lessons at the individual lesson rate
- Refund requests must be made in writing via email
- Processing time for refunds is typically 5-10 business days
Package lessons must be used within a reasonable timeframe (typically 6 months for 4-lesson packages, 12 months for 8-lesson packages). Unused lessons beyond this timeframe may not be eligible for refund.
Instructor Cancellations
If we need to cancel a lesson due to instructor unavailability or other circumstances:
- We will provide as much advance notice as possible
- You will receive a full refund for the cancelled lesson, or
- We will reschedule the lesson at a mutually convenient time
Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase. If this is not possible, we will arrange an alternative refund method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Special Circumstances
We recognize that life circumstances can change. If you need to discontinue lessons due to:
- Relocation
- Health issues
- Financial hardship
- Other significant life changes
Please contact us to discuss your situation. We will work with you to find a fair resolution, which may include partial refunds, lesson transfers, or other accommodations.
Digital Resources
Digital resources, including practice materials, recordings, and online access, are provided as part of the lesson service. These are not separately refundable, but access may be discontinued if you cancel your lessons.
Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about a refund or cancellation decision, please contact us directly. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and will work with you to find a mutually acceptable solution.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your transaction.
